I purchased this bike after looking at comparable priced bikes by the big names. I could not find anything with a group set that was as good as what's on the Bees Knees for the price. The frame quality is nice, easily as good as any other Taiwan built Aluminium frame. (I believe this is the company who built the frame www.asahibike.com) I started out riding BMX so I have always purchased my mountain bike frames shorter than recommended. I got the Medium Bees Knees I am a little over 6' I am happy with the sizing. The length of the top tube does not feel to short for me. I have never liked feeling real stretched out on a MTB. Overall this bike has been a great deal for me, I was very nervous about making the jump to 27.5", it was the right choice. I would say go test ride 27.5" at a local bike shop before buying. I have put 30+ trail miles on the bike in the last week. It has done well it feels quick in the corners while still rolling over things better than my old 26". I love the lock out on the bars for the fork, the bike has been great over jumps and through rooty sections. I do like the 2x10 gearing, more than enough for my needs in Ohio. good bike good price.

This bike makes me a better person, smooth, fast, head turning. This bike is well worth it. Climbs like a goat and corners like a lotus.
