4Probably the best value you'll find in a full-size folding bike
By Mister Sam
I got mine at the end of May. I wanted to ride it quite a bit before reviewing the bike.I did at least a month of searching, reading reviews, visiting bike forums, sizing up the competition and deciding which folding bike would be best for me before ordering this bike.Overall, it's a very nice value for a folding bike that fits easily in the trunk of just about any car. The fact that I can carry a bike with me at all times, and be able to take a ride when and where I want to is fantastic. No more unwieldy bike racks that never seem to fit right, or slip and slide on the car, and cost quite a bit as well. And there's a lot less risk of the bike being stolen off my car while I'm at work when it's in the trunk instead of visible on a rack. Another plus: if it happens to rain, the bike stays dry. There are a few things that were different on the bike I received when compared to the vendor's images:1) The tires in the images are very knobby mountain bike-type tires. Mine came with hybrid-type "arrow" tread tires, which I actually prefer for the trails I tend to ride on. I ride a lot of paved trails, and also mixed-use crushed limestone trails, so the hybrid tires are actually better for my uses, but people should be aware that they aren't what's pictured (you can also see larger images on the vendor's website).2) The bike pictured is painted gloss black. The bike I received is painted a very *flat* black, so that it's more like a very deep gray than black. I actually prefer the flat paint. It makes for an extremely unique-looking bike, although it does make oil on the paint very apparent when you oil the bike. I just wipe it down, but it does occur and could be an issue for some people.3) I've seen different seats (saddles) shown in various images from the vendor, both here, on their website, and on eBay. The current images seem correct though: it's a split-type seat, pretty comfortable but something many will want to upgrade at some point. It's a serviceable seat though, and I haven't changed it yet.The derailer gear-change system on mine wasn't set up well, with gears either not available or "crunchy" when selected. This was remedied easily by my local bike shop, but should be noted. The brakes were not set up well -- again, something your bike shop can easily fix, or as I did, adjust them yourself. It's not hard to do (there are tutorials all over youtube), but again, I had to note that fact in this review. The bike folds and un-folds very easily, and unlike many folding bikes, you do not have to remove the front wheel nor the handlebars to do so. THIS IS A HUGE PLUS. I can have the bike out of my trunk and unfolded, ready to ride in less than 30 seconds. One disadvantage (common with many folding bikes) is that the bike is hard to handle when folded, because nothing holds the two halves together once folded. I purchased a cheap adjustable bungee-type strap at a local store to wrap around the folded bike. It works quite well to keep the bike from flopping open when loading and unloading from the trunk. The folding pedals are of a very nice design and seem well-made and durable.Because of the position of the bottle-cage threads on this bike, selection of a cage is important because the neck of the bike gets in the way of some cages when using longer 24-ounce bottles. The Ibera water bottle cage (sold here on kumisjojon) is *ideal* for this bike. It fits perfectly with the design and leaves room to get even large water bottles in and out. I love the position of the threads on this bike, putting the cage directly on top of the single tube, right where it's easy to reach when riding.I would definitely keplek this bike again. It rides very well, and feels as solid as a non-folding bike, even over rough trails and potted asphalt. It's a great value (compare other folding bikes with 26" wheels and you'll quickly see what I mean). The suspension is a bonus for people who aren't 20 anymore, as it soaks up bumps and makes staying on the saddle easier, allowing for longer rides.I heartily recommend this bike.

4What a Gas!
By Arkbiz 44
I generally ride a Trek road bike (skinny tires vs these fat ones) but I needed something that stored compactly that I could ride on camping trips, especially out west. This bike is much different. It is surely harder to cover great distance quickly, but if you want to amble for five or ten miles and take dirt paths (or no path at all), this bike is fine. It rolls over obstacles like a tank. While I wish it had a lower low, what it has is okay. I'm use to narrow saddles but this bike's is very uncomfortable (I threw on an old gel cover I had).I bought a few straps at the hardware store to keep the bike solidly folded. It also solves the what-to-do problem w/ the detached handlebars. BTW, the blue is awesome. One advantage to the bike is that you can quickly adjust it to any rider w/o tools. So you or your spouse (or whoever) can both ride it.2KSilver was a pleasure to deal with.ADDED LATER:Because the seat had a tear, 2KSilver quickly sent a replacement. It is MUCH better than the original. Perhaps the design has changed on more recent arrivals? BTW, ask 2KSilver about a (whole bike) bag; their price is great (though I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know about the quality and dimensions) and you're likely to save on freight if you order at the same time. If you are tall, ask for the longer seat post at time of order (otherwise, don't because if you are short, the longer one will interfere w/ the rear suspension).Order now. The Australian floods (Jan 2011) are affecting Asian steel prices and China is seeing inflation anyway!

5This should be an epic market disruptor for the overpriced folding bike niche!
By KMobile
:) Got this bike very quickly and well-packaged (note: it's in the unfolded confirmation with an obvious bike box, so apartment-dwellers with small or nonsecure package areas should beware). Company was great about responding quickly and effectively to my special shipping request to hold at closest FedEx facility.:) I'm not at all experienced at assembling things and didn't have any tools on hand, but even I managed to do the basic assembly in about half an hour, and only because I was so awkward about twisting hex nuts to the right tightness with the provided hex wrench. Without that complication, I'd estimate the average user would take no more than 15 minutes at most -- it takes a bit of time to unpack everything, since it's well-wrapped.:) I could ride the bike right away! Took it outside for a test-ride that went pretty well.:) It's aesthetically fantastic, with a gorgeous solid body and comfortable saddle.:) It's nicely put-together in factory, with appropriate greasing and fixing of joints.:) Everything you really need, including wrench and extra parts, is available in the box.:| The wheels are wider than city bike wheels but narrower than typical mountain bikes. I managed sidewalks, curbs, and myriad bumps just fine, but for some people it's a matter of strong preference.:| There were slight scratches on the frame from the box which I'll cover up before long to avoid rust, but I think it's a shipping issue. It's otherwise well-protected.:| Without default out-of-box settings, there's some optimization to be done on shifting and brakes. The speed was rather better than that for a cruiser, but not quite up to mountain bikes' usual speeds. Given the good condition of the gears and shimano shifters and everything, I am pretty confident that it could be improved, but just something to note.:| If you like more upright bikes, just note that the handlebars are a bit low (I'm 5'3" and still a bit bent forward on the tallest setting) -- that's conducive to stability and greater speeds so no complaints. Handles somewhat wide, but easy to get used to or adjust as desired. These didn't seem worth docking a star for because they're matters of personal preference and idiosyncrasy. Very worthwhile purchase overall.Haven't tried folding it yet but shouldn't be too bad. I don't think, from the diagrams, that one needs to disassemble as much as instructed. Not very light for bikes in general, but is as good as or better than equivalent-sized folders.
