Designed and refined through feedback from our riders, the Assault is a burly little low slung rig designed to trick, flip, stick and hit. Boom Diamondback DF5 Pro Factory Team Rider Kelly McGarry sums it up like this: ''The Assault is one of my favorite bikes in the Diamondback line up. It's quick and snappy in the turns and fly's predictably and smooth. The geometry works well for my style of riding, whether that be two, one, or zero wheels on the ground'' The 2012 Diamondback Assault boasts of a 6061-T6 Aluminum frame with a tapered head tube, Mission formed top tube and steel reinforced horizontal BMX dropouts, these frames are stout and fully capable of going big. and weighing in at a respectable 4.5 lbs makes this one of the lighter dirt jump frames on the market. Rocking a single speed specific horizontal dropout keeps things clean and simple. 69-Degree head and 72-Degree seat angles combined with significantly compact 15.3" chainstays and a 22'' sloping top tube makes the Assault easy to throw around and manual for days. The Assault frameset comes out of the box standard with an FSA No.57 tapered headset with 1.5 / 1 1/8" alloy cups and sealed cartridge bearings and a Diamondback signature Pivotal saddle and Alienation Billy Club post. Diamondback is a brand that built its reputation on top of the line BMX bikes. 30 years later, we're bridging that gap from our high end BMX to our high end mountain bikes. The Assault frameset is just the rig to do this.

amazing dirt jumper!

So I bought this bike on a whim here on kumisjojon at an unbelievable price! I was looking for a dirt jump frame to build and stumbled upon the diamondback assault.This bike handles incredible and performs well in the skatepark as well as the dirt jump track. I am 6'1 and it fits me well.The Assault comes with the seat, post and all your headset rings, as well as an FSM headsset..This is also the ride for new diamondback sponsored rider Carson Storch..I got mine for $ 235 so don't snooze..2012 assaultmanitou circus experts 100mmwtb fx23single speedazonic world force 3in rise
