Nov. 29,2010This bike is the same exact bike as the Polaris RMK also found on kumisjojon There are reviews listed for the Polaris RMK with a rating of 4 1/2 stars, so those review and ratings will give you an idea about this bike as they are the same bike except for different paint and names. (see my review on the Polaris RMK)They are both made by Ming Cycle in Taiwan and distributed by an Americancompany---Cycle Force Group. Both bikes are the Mings top of the line dual suspension mountainbike with disk front brake and upgraded wheels(rims)and 19"frame. Generally The Polaris is gettingbetter reviews and ratings (different web sites) than the other dual suspension mountain bikes thatare under 300 dollars including Mongoose.This bike is a great keplek at this price (WalMart 199 dollars) and is the same bike as the higher priced Polaris.Also at this time the Victory is selling for 189 dollars at Meijer's----thats where I bought mineand I will follow up with a complete review when I get the Victory on the road. Dec 8, 2010I received the bike, very well packaged and undamaged, It was easy to put together, only had to attach front wheel,seat,handlebars,front/rear reflectors and front brake caliper. All cables were attached and I didn't have to make any adjustments. The bike rides smooth, shifts smooth and quality of construction is beyond my expectations. I cant believe the upgraded alloy wheels and 19" frame--usually only found on much more expensive bikes. My only complaints would be----cheap pedals--and cheap tires. This bike and the Polaris RMK (same bike with different colors) have to be the best dual suspension mountain bikes for for under 300 dollars. I give it a five star for value for the money----As the word gets out, I wouldn't be surprised to see the price on these bikes go way up after the first of the year, The Polaris is already priced higher and still going up---and the victory is the same bike for less!!!! G R E A T D E A L12-12-10 ----Right now the Polaris is selling for less than the Victory on kumisjojon and Miejers. The prices fluctuate back and forth on both bikes. Anyways they are the same bike and you get your choice of colors and the price will always be lower for one of them.

I bought this bike with little money and figured i would just upgrade it as i went, and that's what I did. It's a great bike, the frame is really the best part, every thing else is, well knock off versions of the real parts, but they held up longer then I expected. I replaced the front fork (though it didn't really need it), the front disc brake, the handle bars, the brake leavers, the grips, and the tires. Those upgrade were just because I ride pretty hard trails and I need the better sustainability and control that those trails demand. all of those things would be just fine at any level below hard trail. If you are on the heavier side or really crank on the pedals, or both, then I suggest replacing the crank set and the bottom bracket. I am having to do that now and I have had it for a year. Over all I love this bike, it's best part is the frame and its second shock. If you plan to ride hard trails, I suggest replacing absolutely everything except the frame(of course) and the second shock. If not, then you should be absolutely fine with the stock parts.

The bike arrived quickly and was undamaged. Assembly was easy as the written directions were clear and concise. I've been using the mountain bike to build up my muscles and increase my confidence on the trails, and so far I've no problems with the Victory Vegas. Basic maintenance such as keeping things tightened and lubricated will be needed after a week or two of riding.
